Albuquerque Police -- We Can't Confirm Jon Jones was In Hit & Run

The Albuquerque Police Dept. just issued a statement saying they CANNOT confirm that UFC superstar Jon Jones was involved in a hit and run accident today ... despite reports to the contrary.

Social media has been blowing up with rumors that the UFC champ was involved in a major crash in New Mexico ... with some reports saying there were drugs found at the scene.

But the Albuquerque PD says, "We CANNOT confirm that Jon Jones was involved in a H&R traffic accident from this morning. The investigation is ongoing."
