Chespirito Dead -- Iconic Mexican Comedian Dies at 85

Chespirito -- a.k.a. Roberto Gomez Bolanos -- died Friday in Mexico.

The iconic comedian passed away at his home ... according to Televisa -- the company he worked with for most of his career.

Bolanos was beloved for his main character role on the long running show "El Chavo del Ocho" ... as well as his run as superhero "El Chapulin Colorado."

Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto tweeted, "Mexico has lost an icon whose work has transcended generations and borders."

He was 85 years old.

Fun Fact: The Bumblebee man character on "The Simpsons" was inspired by Chespirito.

Ray Rice -- Fantasy Football Boom ... Becomes #1 Added Player in Minutes

Didn't take long for Fantasy Football owners to forgive Ray Rice -- because just hours after he was reinstated, Ray has become the MOST picked up player in Yahoo! fantasy leagues.

As we previously reported, Ray's fantasy stock sank like a stone after TMZ Sports published the inside-the-elevator footage back in September.

But now, according to Yahoo! "Transaction Trends" page, Ray has already been added to more than 168,000 fantasy teams ... the #1 added player today ... BY FAR.

In fact, the #2 guy is Vikings running back Matt Asiata who was added to 14,000 teams.

Funny thing is ... Ray hasn't been signed to a team yet.

Clearly, 168k people think he'll find a new squad before the season ends.

Ray Rice -- Thank Goodness for Appeals Process

Ray Rice just issued a statement about the judge's decision to overturn the NFL's indefinite suspension -- saying, "I am thankful that there was a proper appeals process in place to address this issue."

Here's Ray's statement in its entirety:

"I would like to thank Judge Barbara Jones, the NFL Players Association, my attorneys, agents, advisors, family, friends and fans - but most importantly, my wife Janay."

"I made an inexcusable mistake and accept full responsibility for my actions. I am thankful that there was a proper appeals process in place to address this issue."

"I will continue working hard to improve myself and be the best husband, father and friend, while giving back to my community and helping others to learn from my mistakes."

Ray Rice's Teammate -- He Deserves 2nd Chance ... 'He'll Do the Right Thing'

Two of Ray Rice's former teammate are voicing their support of the ruling -- saying they're happy Ray will get a second chance in the NFL.

Ravens wide receiver Torrey Smith tweeted ... "Second chances are only as good as you make them....my boy will do the right things."

And Bryant McKinnnie -- who also played with Ray on the Ravens -- wrote, "The Power of Prayer! I'm glad my Friend Ray Rice was given a 2nd chance & him his wife can move on, they have learned so much from this situation."

Mickey Rourke -- Wins Obviously Fixed Boxing Match

69 year-old Mickey Rourke won his big boxing match in Russia ... when he sorta kinda tapped a guy with a body shot ... and the guy went crumbling to the ground.

The fight was against Elliot Seymour -- a 29 year-old fighting well above his weight with a 1-9 record -- and during the second round he appeared to take a dive after getting hit in the side.

Rourke celebrated by putting some dude on his shoulders and parading around the ring.

Still looked more realistic than his facial features.

Snoop Dogg is scared he'd kill the grandmas who famously smoked weed for the first time.

Our photog spotted The Doggfather outside the Forum in Inglewood. Snoop's certain AARP members would go full flatline if they blaze with him.

But at least one of the old ladies takes issue. Paula (the dark haired one in the video) tells TMZ she'd love the chance to "twist one up with Snoop."

She prefers vaporizers and Snoop likes blunts, but Paula has a middle ground: "He is welcome in my kitchen any day. We can cook pot brownies. He’s too thin, I'll fatten him up if he comes over."

Just like a grandma ... always trying to feed you pot brownies.

Ex-NFL Star Fred Smoot -- Domestic Violence Allegations Are From 'Disgruntled Ex'

Former Washington Redskins corner back Fred Smoot claims his "disgruntled" ex-girlfriend concocted domestic violence allegations against him in retaliation for him ending their relationship.

Smoot's lawyer tells TMZ Sports the ex "has elected to engage in a campaign to defame Fred and ruin him both personally and professionally."

The lawyer says Smoot broke things off with his accuser a month ago and that's why she made up this story.

As TMZ Sports previously reported, Smoot was arrested in D.C. on Sunday for simple assault. The ex told police Smoot pushed her against the wall in their bathroom when she tried to grab the keys to his truck so she could drive it to work.

Officer Darren Wilson -- I Did Nothing Wrong ... and I'd Do It Again

Officer Darren Wilson says the Missouri Grand Jury did the right thing, he has a clear conscience over the death of Michael Brown, and he'd do it again.

Wilson sat down with ABC's George Stephanopoulos Tuesday and gave his version of events -- that Brown reached into Wilson's patrol car and attempted to grab his gun, and Brown then charged Wilson which is when he began shooting.

Wilson says he would have done the same thing if Brown was white ... that race had nothing to do with it.

Stephanopoulos' interview airs Tuesday on ABC's World News Tonight.
