Earlier this week a story surfaced saying Rodman told was on his way to the airport to leave for the Middle East when he said, “I think if I could just talk with the leaders of ISIS they would see the errors of their ways."
But Rodman's rep says the report is total crap ... telling TMZ Sports the retired basketball player is in Hong Kong for business meetings.

This video is great ... we asked Bruno how he felt about Lolo's emotional breakdown after she became the 1st person eliminated from the show last week -- and the guy didn't hold back.
As we previously reported, Lolo expressed her devastation on Facebook after she was 86'd -- saying she was sick of being a loser ... and wanted to use the show to redeem herself after multiple failures in the Olympics.
But as Bruno says ... "s**t happens. Move on."
Jennifer Lopez reclaimed her title of Best Butt with the release of the insanely sexual "Booty" video, co-starring the equally bootylicious Iggy Azalea. That juicy booty is back on its throne, but just a few short years ago, it looked like JLo had been permanently unseated. Ben Affleck just confirmed TMZ's story that he was kicked out of the Hard Rock Casino for counting cards in blackjack ... but he says the casino really is just a sore loser because there's nothing wrong with it.
Afflect told Details Magazine, "I took some time to learn the game and became a decent blackjack player. And once I became decent, the casinos asked me not to play blackjack."
TMZ broke the story in May ... Ben's been banned for life from the blackjack tables at the Hard Rock because security caught him counting cards, but fact is ... it's not illegal. Really, it's just kind of awesome.
Ben says he's been kicked out of other casinos as well, but they're all more than happy to let him play other games where he might lose.
Affleck also says reports that wife Jennifer Garner is pissed off at him for excessive gambling are BS. He says he's not a compulsive gambler.
He's not compulsive ... he just likes to win -- a lot.

Lolo Jones says she felt broken, unlovable and embarrassed after she was eliminated from "Dancing with the Stars" last night ... and penned an emotional letter saying she's sick of being a loser.
The former Olympian unloaded on Facebook right after she got the boot from the ballroom ... saying, "When I was dancing last night and messed up I had flashbacks of the three Olympics and that people constantly tease me about. I thought oh no here it comes again. People are going to ridicule me. I'm so tired of feeling embarrassed."
"I joined the other competitors upstairs and I couldn't force a smile on my face. I felt like vomiting and in between the other dances I went in a back room and fought back tears. I felt so broken. So unlovable. Embarssed."
Jones -- who's been RIPPED in public over her lackluster performances at the Olympics over the years -- added, "I really wanted to stay on the show and have the layers of hurt wash away by showing the public how hard I work. I wanted to come away a victor for once. I wanted to do so good performing in public that the haters would stop teasing me."
"But that is my way of thinking. Not Gods. Instead I need to trust God that he would heal my heart. That I would not work so hard for the world to validate and redeem me but know that God already conquered that for me on the cross."
She concluded ... "My time was brief but the lesson is lasting. Thank you everyone who wrote me kind messages. You were helping me not fall into darkness."
Yeah, she's taking this pretty hard.

Adrian Peterson is under investigation for a SECOND child abuse case involving one of his other children ... according to a report.
This new investigation involves an incident that allegedly went down last June. According to KHOU ... Peterson was investigated when the 4-year-old boy went home to his mother with a scar on his forehead.
The station says Adrian sent the mother a text message saying the child hit his head on a carseat -- but when the mother questioned him further ... Peterson eventually admitted hitting the child.
Earlier today ... Peterson issued a public apology for the other case -- for which he's been indicted -- saying he was sorry for hurting the child and visiting a psychologist has taught him there are other ways to discipline kids.
