Chiddy was performing in South Carolina for Clemson University's homecoming Friday night when the crowd reportedly got too out of hand ... so officers were forced to shut the whole thing down.
Someone who was in the crowd told us a woman on stage got hit in the face with a water bottle moments before, so they suspect that's what triggered cops to spring into action.
The rapper's hype man attempted to keep the crowd going ... but promoters quickly killed the lights.
The "Lizzie McGuire" star and Comrie hit up the annual Casamigos Halloween bash in Los Angeles Friday night and proudly held hands in front of the paparazzi as they walked inside.

Parish of Livingston officials tell us Kristafor Ford abused Stephanie's son from another relationship last month ... by striking the kid so hard his lower buttocks area was bruised.
Stephanie was also taken into custody ... because her son told cops she was present in the room. She's not being accused of hitting her kid.
As we previously reported ... Stephanie's dad Will Hayden was taken into custody back in August for allegedly molesting his other daughter -- and since then, he's been charged with another rape .
The show has since been cancelled.

Stephen Collins says he's now unemployable after audio of him confessing to child molestation surfaced.
Collins' lawyer filed new legal docs -- obtained by TMZ -- in which he says the divorce trial between the actor and Faye Grant just got a whole lot easier, because there won't be a fight over future income.
Collins' lawyer says, "Faye's decision to parade that recording ... has resulted in Stephen having no income other than investment income and pension income."
As you know ... TMZ posted audio of Collins' confession to molesting and/or exposing himself to 3 young girls.
His lawyer, Mark Vincent Kaplan, adds, "Stephen suffers greatly from the pillaring (sic) by the media surrounding Faye's unlawful recording."
Sheryl was finally able to find a buyer to take her estate for a cool $11 million ... even though she initially listed it in 2012 at just under $16 mil.
The 10+ acre spread actually has 3 full houses on it, with a main house and 2 guest houses for a total of 11 bedrooms. The place even has its own campsite, tepee, palapa, and a bridge connecting the homes.
Sheryl bought the Hollywood compound for $8.4 mil way back in 1998, so she ultimately pocketed a nice chunk o' change ... which will do her good.

Chris Brown is gonna be real busy until 2015 ... less with music, more with court ordered work.
Chris appeared in court Thursday for a progress report in the Rihanna beating case and his community labor was upped to 4 days a week -- so he can complete his remaining hours by January.
Typically, community labor sessions last for around 8 hours -- and at 4 days a week ... that means he's
one day shy of having a new full time job.
The judge also mentioned Chris violated his probation by breaking a law ... speeding. He got a ticket, but seriously, cut the dude a break.
As we previously reported ... Kat's famous High Voltage tattoo parlor caught fire early this morning. It took firefighters several hours to knock down the blaze completely -- and local news has been outside the whole time.
But Kat showed up within the last hour, and went off on the media ... knocking the hat off a female photographer's head, and telling everyone -- including us -- to "have some respect."
Kat was asked if she knew what started the fire. Watch ... her only response is anger.

LAFD got the call around 4 AM about the blaze at her High Voltage Tattoo shop in West Hollywood. It's unknown at this point if anyone was inside the shop when the fire started. As of 6:30 AM ... there are no flames, but crews are still on scene.
