According to our sources, the family will have to decide in the next couple of days whether to keep the 81-year-old on life support. We're told the family remains hopeful that if they do decide to turn off the machines, she will make a turn for the better and fight through it.

TMZ broke the story ... Joe got busted back in May after scrapping with a security guard and a 'GGW' employee at this old office. He was also hauled in for violating a restraining order that required him to stay away from the building.

He's facing multiple misdemeanor charges, including ... 1 count of criminal threats, 2 counts trespassing, 1 count of battery, and 3 counts disobeying a court order.

The family of the "Cops" crew member who died in a police shootout says the Omaha PD is prolonging their agony ... by refusing to show them video taken during the gun battle.
Sources close to the family tell us ... they had a 1-hour meeting with police Thursday ... to get information -- and some closure -- about how "Cops" sound engineer Bryce Dion died, but they got neither.
Police have released still images from the "Cops" footage of the deadly shootout -- but we're told authorities won't show the family the video because it's now evidence in a criminal case.
Omaha PD confirms the family will not be allowed to see the vid until a grand jury investigation is complete ... standard procedure, we're told.

The LAPD is investigating a "possible domestic dispute" between USC football player Josh Shaw and his GF ... which they believe may have happened on the night Shaw injured his ankles.
As TMZ Sports first reported, a witness called cops last Saturday night after seeing a person "shimmying" down the side of an apartment building in downtown L.A. around 10:40 PM.
Now, cops are saying the witness also reported hearing a woman screaming in the moments before the man scaled down the building.
When cops arrived to the apartment, no one answered the door -- so they broke it down and found a window that had been pried open.
A woman who lives in the unit eventually returned -- and told cops the description of the man seen jumping out of the window sounded a lot like her boyfriend Josh Shaw.
Cops say the woman "did not indicate she was the victim" of domestic violence.
Shaw 's attorney previously told TMZ Sports the football player is adamant there was NO domestic violence.
Still, cops say the investigation will continue. As for how Shaw REALLY injured himself on the night in question -- he still has not said a word other than that it did NOT happen while saving his 7-year-old nephew from drowning.

Wrestler Sinn Bodhi -- who has been at Jake's bedside all night -- tells us Roberts went to a doctor 2 weeks ago, and was told he had the flu and needed rest.
Bodhi says Jake's been in pain since ... but didn't think it was a big deal because of the prognosis.
We're told Roberts is in ICU, and his immune system is in bad shape. Doctors are letting him rest for a few days while they take more tests.
Bodhi adds, "Right now, we're all just staying positive."

TMZ broke the story when Ray was busted at the Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel back in May for allegedly grabbing a woman's breast, and then getting into a violent altercation with arresting officers. He kicked out the window of a BH PD patrol car.
The plea deal requires Ray to be on probation for 3 years, do 50 hours of community service, 12 anger management counseling sessions, and 12 alcohol therapy sessions.
He will have to stay away from the hotel and pay back Bev Hills PD for the car window.

Josh Shaw was aggressively confronted by a teammate in the USC locker Monday afternoon -- with the player screaming at Shaw to "come clean" about the false hero story ... TMZ Sports has learned.
We spoke with multiple sources in the USC athletic department who all say the same thing ... the player who confronted Shaw -- a respected member of the defense -- was pissed off because he knew the story was bogus and got right in Shaw's face about it.
During the confrontation -- which occurred right after the initial story about Shaw saving his 7-year-old cousin from drowning was posted on a USC media outlet -- the player yelled at Shaw, "Why you lying?"
We're told the situation got very intense very quickly -- and several teammates rushed in to separate the two before things got violent.
As we previously reported, Shaw eventually fessed up and admitted he made the whole hero story up -- but he has yet to come clean about why he concocted the tale in the first place.

Rapper Joe Budden -- who is accused of brutalizing his GF -- surrendered to NYC cops Wednesday morning, but arrogantly predicted he'd soon be out on the streets partying it up with strippers.
Budden turned himself in to NYPD's 34th precinct ... where he was charged with robbery and grand larceny -- for allegedly taking his GF's cell phone during a violent assault. While he was still custody ... Budden tweeted, "I'll be out in time for the strip club later."
As we reported ... sources say Budden became enraged when he saw pics of her with other men. He allegedly dragged her out of a NYC restaurant ... and drove her to his home in NJ where she told cops he beat the crap out of her.
NJ cops are still investigating the alleged assault ... so Budden might not want to brag about his freedom just yet.

Neil Young is bailing on his wife after 35 years of marriage, but he's not turning his back on their son ... an adult with special needs.
The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer filed to divorce singer-songwriter Pegi Young, citing irreconcilable differences. They got hitched back in 1978, and separated this past April.
In his divorce docs, Young makes no mention of paying Pegi alimony ... but says they've agreed that both will continue to support their adult son, Ben, who has cerebral palsy. (Neil actually has two adult kids with CP ... the other is from a previous relationship.)
Pegi wants more than that ... in addition to child support, she's filed docs seeking spousal support.
