The Omaha Police Department is about to hold a press conference to address the shootout that killed a suspect and a "Cops" camera man during taping of the show Tuesday night.
As we told you ... the camera man was covering a shootout between officers and an armed robbery suspect when he got caught in the crossfire .
Sources close to the production tell us the photog died from gun-shot related injuries.
