The great grandson of Anna Short Harrington -- who took over the Jemima character in 1937 -- filed a lawsuit against PepsiCo, the Quaker Oats Company and 2 other businesses on behalf of her heirs.
D.W. Hunter claims the companies conspired to deny Harrington was a Quaker Oats employee ... but continued to exploit her image for more than 60 years without paying up.
Harrington was selected for the role because of her pancake recipe -- which they recreated for the grocery store ... but her family believes racial exploitation was involved in the deal.
They claim Harrington was talked out of using a lawyer -- exploiting her lack of education so the company wouldn't have to pay for her recipe.

The Browns fan charged with allegedly peeing on Art Modell's grave site tells TMZ Sports he NEVER actually relieved himself ... and he says the viral video proves it.
Paul Serbu's attorney Marty Malloy admits his client is remorseful about making the video ... where he clearly says, "I'm pissing on Art's grave" -- but he says Serbu only faked the #1 salute.
Malloy says if you look closely at the video, you never see Serbu's pants undone ... you never see his penis ... and there is NO stream of liquid. He appears to have a good point.
However, Serbu -- who's been charged with disorderly conduct -- does eventually bend over to pick up something, which some people believe is a tube running down his pant leg. The theory being he peed through the tube.
Malloy confirms his client did have a tube with him, but he claims it was never used.
So, it appears his defense will be -- if he didn't unzip, you must acquit.

The Cleveland Browns fan who pissed on Art Modell's grave has been ID'd by cops and charged for the crime.
The suspect is 61-year-old Paul S. Serbu from Ohio. Last month, Serbu posted a video on YouTube of himself urinating on Modell's grave site in Maryland.
Of course, Modell owned the Browns from 1961 until 1996 ... when he moved the team to Baltimore and they became the Ravens. So, there's your motive.
Serbu's been charged with disorderly conduct in a cemetery ... a misdemeanor. His court date is set for February. He faces up to 2 years in jail.

Michael Jackson had code words and signals that he used with a boy he allegedly molested to describe various sex acts ... including "duck butter."
James Safechuck -- now 36 -- claims in his lawsuit against the MJ Estate ... the singer started abusing him when he was 10 ... when he traveled with Michael to Paris for the "Bad" tour in 1988.
In new court docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Safechuck says Michael taught him to use code words ... referring to his erection as "bright light, brick city" ... and calling semen, "duck butter."
Safechuck claims Jackson also used secret signals -- when they would hold hands, Michael would scratch the inside of James' hand with a finger ... to show he wanted to have sex.
Safechuck says MJ wanted a full-blown relationship with him ... to the point he performed a secret wedding ceremony with the boy with wedding ring and a marriage certificate.
