Despite a slew of backlash , Sean "Diddy" Combs is set to give the Commencement address at Howard University this morning ... where he will also receive an honorary doctorate in humanities at the convocation.
While some students did not consider Diddy a worthy choice for the part, a rep for the school told TMZ, "Howard University continues the tradition of identifying leaders whose work has clearly contributed to the advancement of their fields and the world ... We are honored to have Mr. Combs serve as our speaker."
The stream can be hit or miss ... but don't worry, we'll have Diddy's speech for you when it's over.
