Gary Busey -- 'Point Break' Remake Offends the Living ... and the Dead

Gary Busey is convinced the "Point Break" remake will not happen because it would be like remaking "Bambi" ... and apparently Patrick Swayze's ghost agrees with him.

Our photog spotted Pappas himself in Malibu, where he insisted the movie is not happening ... even though it really is. Not only did Busey "know" the remake was not going forward, but he explained why … by invoking Swayze's name in a way only Gary could.

Perhaps he meant the movie is not happening with Gerard Butler, who dropped out of playing Bodhi.

We doubt it, but maybe ...
