Catherine Zeta-Jones is now making her OWN powerful statement in response to reports she's split from husband Michael Douglas ... proudly wearing her wedding ring in Connecticut Wednesday.
Douglas himself shot down the rumors over the weekend in Berlin, telling reporters he was still wearing his wedding band because ... surprise, surprise ... he's "still married ."
You'll recall, reports surfaced last week that Douglas and Zeta-Jones were taking some time apart after 13 years of marriage ... partially due to the stress from Douglas' battle with cancer and Catherine's struggle with bipolar disorder.
But by the looks of it ... there's still hope yet.
